Things To do in Yate

A delightful town in South Gloucestershire, Yate is located around 11 miles from Bristol and Bath and offers local charm to those who visit.

As the home to one of our coffee houses, we here at Esquires Coffee have put together a guide to this quaint English town for those who are unfamiliar with the area or are looking to visit!

Kingsgate Park

If you love the relaxing experience of being outdoors, then one of the best places to visit in Yate is Kingsgate Park. Kingsgate Park offers something for everyone and is a great day out for families, as well as the perfect place for some exercise!

It is a nature reserve, with a lake that is home to a lot of wildlife, including ducks and swans. There are areas dedicated to sports, including an outdoor gym, as well as grassy spaces, picnic benches and an exciting play park area for children.

Yate Shopping Centre

If you’re after a spot of retail therapy, then Yate Shopping Centre is the place to go. Offering a diverse selection of high street retailers, restaurants and unique local stores, you’ll find everything you want and need here!

Riverside Retail Park

Across from the Yate Shopping Centre is the Riverside Retail Park, which features Cineworld, TK Maxx, Next and the Little Giggles Soft Play centre.

We might be biased, but the Riverside Retail Park is our favourite place in Yate, as it is also home to our Esquires Coffee shop!
