We had a lovely 6th Birthday party, thank you to everyone who came along and wished us well and enjoyed some birthday cake with us. Here’s to another exciting year serving our lovely customers coffee

A TV chef has launched a range of cakes. Sunderland-born Stacie Stewart, who reached the finals of BBC’s Masterchef and is a cook on ITV’s This Morning show, unveiled her Beehive Bakery range at Esquires Coffee Houses, in Durham City, yesterday.
The cupcakes are inspired by Esquires’ Fairtrade drinks and come in Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha & Hot Chocolate flavours.
Ms Stewart said: “The range range itself took around three months to perfect. There was a lot of experimenting, sampling and refining to do before we reached the perfect recipe, but I am delighted with the finished result.”
Peter Kirton, managing director of Esquires Coffee Houses UK, said: “Stacie is an incredibly gifted baker with a very individual style and lots of charisma. Her cakes are delicious.”
