If you’re running or starting a business in these challenging times Glasgow for Business Week is the tour de force of positive thinking you need.
On Monday morning Think Different Business Banter will look at the IT & Telecoms sector with two of the biggest companies in the sector, BT and Cisco and how businesses should look to the existing and emerging telecom technologies when planning their growth strategies.
Finance is at the heart of any business development and at the Think Different Business Banter on Tuesday morning we will consider both the traditional routes to funding via the banking sector and an alternative method via crowdfunding. In additional we will look at the legal obligations associated with funding for any company. Speakers will come from RBS, Bloom VC and Macdonald and Henderson.
Before you can grow a company you need to understand the market conditions you are entering and the PR that may be required to set you apart from your competition. On Wednesday Think Different Business Banter will consider these issues for SMEs with particular emphasis on those companies just starting out.
There are many support services available to businesses if they just know where to come. Think Different Business Banter offers one route through informal networking but other centrally funded agencies are also available to support SMEs. At Thursday morning’s Think Different Business Banter we consider a co-operative model supported by Cooperative Development Scotland, Business Club Scotland and finally Glasgow Works.
All in all a diverse programme that meets the needs of many businesses today, organised by Think Different Events Ltd. with support from Esquires Coffee House and 5th Column Digital Design.
